Nature's hibernation is over and not only buds are blossoming into new life - people are out on the streets and in the gardens. The Museum f\u00fcr Naturkunde invites all spring enthusiasts to a spring festival with a seed and plant exchange on March 28, 2026 from 13:00 to 17:00.<\/p>

Young and old can let off steam creatively with spring and Easter crafts: Easter nests, blooming Easter eggs and themed glitter tattoos are on the agenda. Little detectives will get their money's worth on the \"Who hides what?\" treasure hunt through the permanent exhibition. The ASR of the City of Chemnitz also invites visitors to experiment. At its Bio station, the focus is on waste recycling and the biocycle. Beekeeper Peter Wagner from Murschnitzer Hof offers honey and interesting facts about bees. With its mobile book lending service, the city library will inspire visitors to get creative with their own gardening projects. Stachelnasen Zwickauer Land e. V. will also be on hand to answer any questions about hedgehogs. If you would like to take a hedgehog home with you, you can make little hedgehogs at the stand.<\/p>

Home, small and flower pot gardeners are invited to bring seeds and plants to swap and thus preserve the natural green diversity. Anyone wishing to offer larger quantities can register for a swap table with Anne F\u00f6rster (Tel.: 0371 488-4555, e-mail: foerster@naturkunde-chemnitz.de).<\/p>

Claudia Huwe-Klug will be giving a talk at 3 p.m. entitled \"Hedgehogs in distress - how can we help?\" on the particularities of dealing with hedgehogs and what we should all bear in mind.<\/p>
