"Nature Journaling" Workshop: Insects (Summer Vacation Program for Individual Participants)

July 9, 2026 , 14:00 - 15:30

Free

Have you ever taken a closer look at the colors and patterns of insects? These little “crawlers” are true masters of camouflage and deception. They can be found in every habitat around the world—you just have to look closely. In the “Nature Journaling” workshop on insects, we’ll do just that together with Yvonne Stunkeit and capture our impressions with pen and paper.

Duration: about 1.5 hours

For creative minds ages 10 to 14; maximum of 10 participants.

Cost: The event is free of charge.

Location: Museum of Natural History, Moritzstraße 20

Contact person: Anne Förster (by appointment only: 0371 / 488-4555 or foerster@naturkunde-chemnitz.de).

The event is co-financed by the European Union as part of the ESF Plus project "Window into the Earth's History" (application number: 100731465). This measure is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget adopted by the Saxon State Parliament.
