Halloween Party: A Window into Earth's History
Shorter days, longer nights, cobwebs everywhere, and fog in the fields—the eerily beautiful fall season has arrived, and with it, the excavation season at the „Window into Earth’s History“ is drawing to a close. But before that happens, we want to open our doors to everyone and invite them into Chemnitz’s underground world. There’s plenty to experience: spooky stories and face painting for kids, a fossil hunt, and eerie tales from a long-gone world during the Permian period. All brave visitors can also refuel with a mug of volcanic potion and delicious pumpkin soup. Just stop by and get spooked with us by torchlight, and hear what the city on the volcano has to say about Halloween.
